Drink up to stop dizziness and disease
The nutrition and dietetics team is hosting an interactive stand in the hospital’s main entrance this week, highlighting the impact good nutrition and hydration can have on health.
Water makes up 55-70 per cent of the human body, helping to control temperature, remove waste and lubricate joints.

Too little fluid can cause dehydration, leading to headaches, tiredness, confusion, dry mouth and dizziness.
The diet specialists are advising everyone to keep an eye on the colour of their urine and drink eight glasses of water a day.
Sri Kakarlapudi, clinical lead for nutrition, said: “With the summer months ahead, it’s important everyone stays hydrated.

“While it may not seem the most exciting drink, you can add fruit to give it some extra flavour. Sugar free squash, tea and coffee also count.”
