Dementia Roadshow visits village
CARERS, sufferers and relatives of someone with dementia can learn more about the condition at a Dearne Valley event.
The Community Dementia Roadshow, hosted by Alzheimer’s Society, will visit Goldthorpe on Thursday, May 18.
Between 10am and 4pm, staff will offer support and information on the charity’s services at the Horse and Groom pub, Barnsley Road.
The Dementia Community Roadshow has been touring the UK since June 2011 and has reached over 184,000 people so far.
