Deadline looms for comments on Manvers waste site plan
Rotherham Borough Council has published the detailed documents relating to the plant at Manvers on its website at www.rotherham.gov.uk.
It is part of a consultation process running until Monday under which interested parties have to be allowed the chance to make formal comments about the extensive plans.

Hide AdBarnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham Councils, through a body known as BDR Waste Partnership, have received £77.4 million in government funding to help pay for the scheme after picking energy partnership 3SE as its preferred choice to build and operate the state-of-the-art facility.
The plant, at Bolton Road, Manvers, could be up and running by 2015 and process up to 250,000 tonnes of waste every year.
