Crash horror girl Chloe recovering at home

A TEENAGER who survived an horrific crash which claimed the lives of three of her friends is continuing to recover at home.

Chloe Newby spent more than a month in hospital after the crash near Mexborough in which Robert Tepper, Jonathan Scott and Lauren Birkett died.

She was left fighting for her life with a fractured skull, several fractures and a broken pelvis.

But last week doctors judged she was well enough to go home to Mexborough and she left  Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

More than 250 people have joined a Facebook group called Get Well Chloe Newby to support her.

Robert, Jonathan and Lauren were killed when the silver Vauxhall Corsa they were travelling in collided head-on with a Volkswagen Golf just yards from Adwick Road’s junction with Crow Tree Lane, near Mexborough, on December 27.

Their funerals were held last week.
