Crash closes Manvers Way for three hours

DRIVERS and passengers escaped without major injury after a three-car crash which closed Manvers Way for more than three hours.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the bypass at around 5.45pm yesterday, near its junction with Cawood Drive, where a Land Rover, a Peugeot and a Renault were involved in the pile-up.

Two fire crews from Dearne station also attended the scene, spending around 50 minutes there.
