Couple spat at rail passenger at Conisbrough station

A MAN and a woman who verbally abused and spat at a train passenger are being hunted by British Transport Police (BTP).

The incident occurred on a train between Mexborough and Conisbrough on September 19 after the man and woman, who didn’t have tickets, raced to the toilet to avoid a conductor.

The conductor then asked them to leave the train and a woman went to help.

The couple then both spat at her and shouted abuse at her before leaving the train at Conisbrough.

Anyone with any information should call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting reference 1700065642.
