Conisbrough biker crash victim’s family in charity appeal
THE family of a biker who died in a crash on a notorious stretch of road have appealed for donations to be made in his memory to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Relatives of Alex Page (25), of Conisbrough, were preparing for his funeral in Mexborough on Tuesday.
His family asked for donations in lieu of flowers to be made to the air ambulance after a crew from the YAA airlifted Alex to hospital after the accident on June 27.
The crash happened on Sheffield Road just outside Conisbrough on a stretch of road which has claimed ten lives in the past eight years.
