THE man best known as Roy Chubby Brown makes an appearance as himself in Rotherham next weekend — and we have ten free tickets to give away.
Royston Vasey, who has clocked up tour after tour as the outspoken, often-crude comic character, will be meeting fans and talking about his career in front of an audience at Maltby Miners Welfare at 7pm on Saturday, March 18.
The out-of-costume date comes just a week after “Chubby” brings his latest show to the Civic Theatre this Saturday (March 11).
All proceeds from the evening in Maltby, which will also feature a live singer, comic Mick Monroe and compere Keith Hammersley, will go to Royston’s charities.
Tickets for An Audience With Royston Vasey are priced at £20 and are available on 07494 438019.
Tickets for Roy Chubby Brown at the Civic, which is for over-18s only, are £21 and can be booked on 01709 823621 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can grab one of five pairs of tickets for the Maltby show by answering this question: In what year was Royston Vasey born?
Email your answer to email@example.com by 5pm on Tuesday, March 14, with the subject “Royston Vasey competition”.
Please include your name, full address and daytime phone number.

Online advertising does not cover costs, therefore we feel the need to ask for your help in ensuring we can provide the best possible coverage, online and in our printed products.
For as little as £1, you can support the Rotherham Advertiser – and it only takes a minute.
