MOBILE speed cameras will be patrolling ten of the borough's busiest routes during a fortnight of action to combat speeding drivers over the festive period.

Officers from the South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership will be taking to the streets to carry out the patrols for two weeks starting from next Monday

The roads subject to SYSC patrols include: A6022 Swinton; A6109 Meadow Bank Road, Kimberworth; Herringthorpe Valley Road, East Herringthorpe; Mansfield Road, Wales Bar; A629 Wortley Road and Upper Wortley Road, Kimberworth and Thorpe Hesley; and Doncaster Road in Dalton and Thrybergh.

The other roads subject to patrols are: A631 Bawtry Road and Rotherham Road, Hellaby and Maltby; Bawtry Road, Wickersley and Brecks; Sandygate, Wath; and the B6059 in Kiveton and Wales.
