Chip pan fire in Herringthorpe

The incident, on Tennyson Road, happened in the early hours of this morning (Monday), just after midnight.

A spokesman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the chip pan fire was out by the time the crew arrived but they spent 15 minutes ventilating the kitchen.

There were no injuries.
