POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they want to track down after a man had his cheekbone and eye socket fractured in an assault in a pub car park.

A 26-year-old man was attacked by an unknown man outside the Mason’s Arms pub in Bawtry Road, Wickersley, at around 1.10am on Saturday, January 7.

He suffered serious facial injuries, including a fractured cheekbone and eye socket.

Now, police want to track down a man caught on camera in connection with the incident.

Despite extensive enquiries and the circulation of CCTV stills to officers across the force, police have been unable to identify the man pictured but it is believed he could hold vital information.

If anyone recognises the man, they should call 101 or email [email protected] quoting incident number 77 of January 7.
