Cash boost to help care for Rotherham mums

ROTHERHAM Hospital has been handed £299,000 to improve its maternity facilities.

ROTHERHAM Hospital has been handed £299,000  to improve its maternity facilities.

An existing ward will be converted to cater for new mums and their babies and ‘eradicate all privacy and dignity issues’ experienced on the hospital’s current post-natal ward.

It will also provides en-suite accommodation within bays and single rooms, allow more space around beds.

The money is part of a £25m boost for 100 hospitals nationwide.
