Car fire in Rawmarsh was accidental

A CAR caught fire in Rawmarsh this morning

A crew from Rotherham Fire Station attended the incident in Willow Avenue at 4.50am.

"The car involved was a Vauxhall Vectra and the cause was accidental after the fire started in the engine area," said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.

The fire crew were on scene for just ten minutes.
