Cancer charity's thank you to beer festival's Wickersley hosts

ALE-SUPPERS raised raised £2,200 for a cancer charity at a mini beer festival.

The St George’s Beer Festival, held at The Three Horseshoes in Wickersley, collected the sizeable sum for Maples Cancer Care.

Charity fundraiser John Hyslop and festival organiser Tracy Hyslop presented pub manager Les Hince with a certificate of appreciation.

Maples Cancer Care provides free complementary therapies to Rotherham cancer patients and their relatives.

It relies entirely on donations of to meet its £100,000-per-year running costs.
