Neil and Kathleen Senior, of Benton Way in Kimberworth, discovered the loss of their Tribute 725 vehicle last Thursday.

The motorhome, registration number FJ12 MWA, was snatched between 12.30am and 3.30am despite thick chains on the steering wheel connected to the foot pedals.

Mr Senior said that he and his wife have had the vehicle for five years and are devastated that it has been stolen.

He said: “We are heartbroken.

“I looked out of the window and it was gone.

“I was going away the next morning in the motorhome.”

Mr Senior, who has appealed on social media for information about the theft, said that the police had been informed and he believed the vehicle had been stolen to order.

He urged anyone with information to contact the police on 101.
