Bus services diverted in Rawmarsh while "urgent" roadworks carried out

BUS passengers face disruption while urgent roadworks are carried out.

South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive said Harding Avenue will be closed between the junctions of Hague Avenue and Humphries Avenue for “urgent utility” works from Thursday, October 5 until Wednesday, October 11.

Bus services will be diverted as follows:

Service 8 to operate as normal to Monkwood Road then divert via Scovell Avenue, Haugh Road and Green Rise before resuming normal route on Harding Avenue.

Service 8A to operate as normal to Hague Avenue at the junction with Harding Avenue then divert via Hague Avenue, Scovell Avenue, Haugh Road and Green Rise before resuming normal route on Harding Avenue.

Temporary stops are to be located in both directions on Hague Avenue between the junctions of Harding Avenue and Monkwood Avenue.
