Brinsworth Academy's bully-beaters praised
BRINSWORTH Academy has been presented with a special award for its efforts to beat bullying.
Students were presented with Rotherham’s Silver anti-bullying award after the academy became the latest of the borough’s schools to be assessed under the scheme.
Cllr Paul Lakin, the council’s Cabinet member for children, young people and families, said: “Ensuring children are safe is vital to ensuring they achieve their full potential at school and this anti-bullying scheme is helping school assess their work and make sure they achieve the bext possible standards of care and support for their students.”
