Boy hurt in road fall

AN 11-year-old boy was hurt outside two neighbouring schools in Brinsworth today when he apparently fell into the road after falling on a kerb. The child was taken to hospital but not thought to be seriously injured after the incident near Brinsworth Manor
AN 11-year-old boy was hurt outside two neighbouring schools in Brinsworth today when he apparently fell into the road after falling on a kerb.

The child was taken to hospital but not thought to be seriously injured after the incident near Brinsworth Manor Junior and Infant Schools around 3pm.

Police stressed that the boy was not knocked down and there was nothing suspicious about the incident. Officers were asked to attend for safety reasons as the boy was at the edge of the road and weather condition were poor.
