Blue badge cheat fined
Paul Trevor Hutley (42), of Bushfield Road, Wath, pleaded guilty by letter to displaying his brother’s disabled person's blue badge and parking his vehicle in a designated disabled bay on Norfolk Street in June even though his brother was not present.
Hutley was fined £100 by Rotherham Magistrates and was ordered to pay £100 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Hide AdThe council’s parking services manager, Martin Beard, said: “This is further evidence that we are achieving increasing success.
“Blue badges are issued to ease the movement of people with disabilities and should not be used as a free parking permit for families and friends.”
