Biker killed after Ravenfield collision

A 25-year-old man was riding a yellow Suzuki motorbike in the direction of Thrybergh, when it was in collision with a black BMW travelling in the opposite direction.

The rider, from Rotherham, was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The 24-year-old driver of the BMW, a woman from Rotherham, was not physically injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the fatal crash which happened at about 4.15pm.

Witnesses, or anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision, is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 777 of 24 October.
