Biker hurt in Bramley smash

A MOTORCYCLIST was left with a suspected broken pelvis following a collision with a car.

The 48-year-old was travelling along Doncaster Road, Bramley, at around 5pm on Saturday  when he was involved in a collision with a blue Mitsubishi estate car.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said: “A blue Honda XL motorcycle appears to have gone into the back of a blue Mitsubishi estate.

“The 48-year-old rider of the bike was taken to hospital with a suspected broken pelvis.”

The road was closed between 5.15pm and 6.50pm following the incident.
