STUNT riders, bag pipers and live bands all drew the crowds to a day of fun in the sun in Dalton.

Dalton Parish Council held its annual gala and music festival at the Magna Field.

There was a demonstration of daredevil stunts and tricks by the fearless riders of Stannage Stunt Team and a more sedate display of classic motorbikes and old buses.

Members of Attitude Dance Group and Rotherham Dance Centre showed off their moves during the afternoon, before singers and bands took over in the evening.

Rock band Top Gun, soul and Motown act Soul Intention and singers Stevie Pavor and Gemma Louise Doyle were among those taking to the stage.
