Aughton man admits sex crimes

A MAN has admitted two sex offences at Sheffield Crown Court.

Anthony Wright (37) of Westfield Avenue, Aughton, was charged with one count of sexual assault and one of sexual activity in the presence of a child.

He was was due to stand trial at Sheffield Crown Court from Monday, but pleaded guilty on the first day.

Wright will appear again to be sentenced on Monday, June 5.
