Artists come together for town centre exhibition

AN eclectic mix of art, prints, sculpture, photography and prose is promised at a two-week art exhibition.

Launched on Friday, the town centre Coterie Gallery’s display will feature work from the so-called Broomsbury Group.

This is a group of seven established artists from across the region each working independently who have come together specially for this new exhibition.

It follows the recent exhibition by first and second-year degree students from Rotherham Collage at the gallery.   

The exhibition will run until Saturday, June 24, at the gallery in Riverside Precinct off Corporation Street is open to the public.

It features work from photographers are Steve Griffiths and Steve Wright, artist and writer Liz Churton, artist and ceramicist Diana Gasiorski, sculptor Paul Casson-Yardley, painter/designer Malcolm Palmer, light and reflection artist Sue Hodgkison and writer and “urban wordsmith” Keith Robinson.
