Artist students see their work on display
The winning entry, by pupils from St Thomas Wharton Community College, Edlington is now displayed at Tata’s visitor centre in Rotherham.
Students from six schools were tasked with coming up with a design that reflected the industry and its history.

Hide AdMark Broxholme, managing director of Tata’s speciality steel business, said: “It is important that we make a good first impression and we want our visitors to feel welcome on our site.
“As a company that strives to make a positive impact on the community, we thought this would be a great opportunity to help talented youngsters in South Yorkshire develop their team working and artistic skills.
“It also gives them the chance to showcase their work to visitors from all over the world.”
The school were also presented with a trophy and £500.
