Arsonists torch tyres and roadworks sign

TYRES and a roadworks sign were set on fire by arsonists overnight.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the tyre blaze at 7pm on Sheffield Road, Conisbrough, on Monday and were at the scene for 30 minutes.

The sign was then set ablaze at 12.30am this morning on Colliery Road, Kiveton Park.

A crew from Aston station was at the scene for an hour.
