Arsonists torch parked car

A BMW car was deliberately torched by arsonists.

The car was parked on Rackford Road, North Anston and a crew from Aston station attended the scene at 8.55pm on Tuesday for around 30 minutes.

Grassland was also targeted by arsonists on Highwoods Road, Mexborough, at 7.05pm.

Cudworth station was at the scene for nearly an hour.

An accidental fire also broke out in Mexborough on Whitelee Road at 7.20pm.

Dearne station was at the scene for an hour.

A crew from Rotherham also dealt with a skip fire on Sellars Road, Kimberworth Park, which was started deliberately  at 11.30pm.

Firefighters left the scene at 11.55pm.
