Arsonists target woods in Canklow
FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a blaze in a wooded area last night (Tuesday).
A crew from Rotherham station was called to the scene at 9.10pm on Canklow Road, Canklow.
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said arsonists had targeted a wooded area and firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the blaze.
The crew left the scene at 9.25pm.
