Arsonists strike twice in one night

ARSONISTS struck twice last night across Rotherham.

A crew from Aston fire station was called out to tackle a burning small vehicle on Dog Kennels Lane, Kiveton Park, at 6.34pm yesterday.

The blaze, which was started deliberately, took 20 minutes to bring under control.

In the early hours of today, a Rotherham fire crew was called to douse a pair of burning tyres on Greasbrough Lane in Rawmarsh, near a football pitch.

The crew, which was called out at 5.24am, spent half an hour at the scene.

Again, the blaze was started deliberately.
