Arson attack at nursery shut down by Ofsted

ARSONISTS started a fire at a nursery - which has been closed down by Ofsted - this afternoon.

A shed in the grounds of The Unity Nursery on Ridge Road, Clifton, was torched at around 2.42pm today (Tuesday).

A crew from Rortherham station attended the scene (pictured) to find the shed well alight, said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, and left at 3.30pm.

Flutterbies had its licence for its nurseries on Stone Row Way, Parkgate, and at the Unity Centre suspended by Ofsted in February. The suspension was extended for a further six weeks on May 15.
