Arson attack and van fire keep firefighters busy

A PORTABLE cabin was set alight by arsonists.

Firefighters from Aston station were called to Crowgate in South Anston at 9pm on Monday and spent nearly an hour at the scene.

A Ford Transit van was also found ablaze on High Hazel Crescent in Catcliffe at 1.45am this morning.

Parkway station was at the scene for 30 minutes and a South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said the cause was not yet known.
