Are you the owner of stolen jewellery?

POLICE are hoping to reunite jewellery believed to have been stolen with its owner.

The items include a small silver bracelet and two nursing and midwifery badges.

They were discovered inside a turquoise green pillowcase with a gold floral pattern on a footpath in Darfield.

A police spokesman said: “Officers believe the items may have been stolen in a burglary and are appealing for the owner to get in touch.”

Call 101 and ask for PC Greg Brice. Proof of ownership may be required, the spokesman said.
