Appeal after Aldwarke bike crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses who may have a witnessed a collision which left a motorcyclist in hospital.

South Yorkshire Police said at 5.50am on Tuesday (18) the 32-year-old man was riding a red and white Sym Jet4 motorcycle along Aldwarke Lane towards Parkgate.

A silver Suzuki Ignis was also travelling along Aldwarke Lane in the same direction.

The car and bike were involved in a collision, resulting in the rider being taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police urged anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 106 of March 18.
