Anti-social bikers caught in Treeton Woods

OFFICERS issued warnings to off-road bikers caught riding in an anti-social manner in Treeton Woods.

PCSOs from the Rotherham South Neighbourhood Policing Team responded to reports of early morning riders in the wood on Sunday.

Officers found three people on scrambler bikes and one on a quad. They were issued with ADM 171 warnings which are given to people caught riding in an anti-social manner and mean if they are caught again, their bikes will be immediately seized under a 172 notice. 

The bikers were all given advice about anti-social riding, said a member of the team.
