A-Levels: Rotherham students celebrate success in Sheffield

A trio of Rotherham students who have been studying at Sheffield High School are celebrating their A Level results.

Deputy head girl Shalaka Darshane, who joined the school from Sitwell Primary School, achieved an A* in English Literature with A grades in Geography and Spanish, alongside two AS results in Religious Studies and Critical Thinking and an A* in the extended project of the AQA Baccalaureate.

Shalaka plans to study English at Durham University.

Jasmine James, who is going to read Psychology at York University, achieved As in Biology and Psychology alongside a B in Chemistry and Emma Liversidge gained an A* in Psychology with an A in Geography and B in English Language as well as AS French. She hopes to study Geography.
