A-level results day: latest news
STUDENTS across Rotherham are opening that all-important envelope today and so far the picture is looking good for the town.
A-level pass rates at four of the town’s sixth forms have increased with Swinton maintaining their overall rate of 99.5 per cent.
In Dinnington the rate went up 3.3 per cent to 98.9 per cent, Maltby’s increased by 2.9 per cent to 95.3 per cent, Wath’s is up 1.1 per cent to 98.7 per cent and Brinsworth students topped last year’s results by 0.4 per cent taking the total to 99.2 per cent.
