A chance to help out at nature reserve
Centenary Riverside nature reserve.

A VOLUNTEER work day at a Rotherham nature reserve is set to take place early next month.

The event, at the Centenary Riverside site on Riverside Way in Templeborough, is on Monday, August 14, from 10am to 3pm.

Practical volunteer days at Centenary Riverside are held on the second Monday of every month and tasks include footpath improvements and habitat management.

Gloves, tools and refreshments are provided but participants should wear suitable outdoor clothes and boots, and bring lunch and drinking water.

Volunteers – who can stay for an hour or the whole day – should meet at the entrance to the reserve on Riverside Way at 10am.
