£250,000 Rotherham Crematorium scheme approved
PLANS for £250,000 of improvements to Rotherham Crematorium have been approved by the council.
Dignity Funerals will replace the unused balcony with a mezzanine floor, increasing capacity by 54 seats to 164.
The music system will be upgraded and new online streaming technology will allow relatives to watch services online.
Windows and doors will also be replaced at the building on Ridgeway, East Herringthorpe, after the plans were passed by Rotherham Borough Council.
