£1m bid to curb Hellaby traffic congestion
TRAFFIC congestion on one of Rotherham’s busiest roundabouts could be cut under plans for a £1m revamp.
Traffic lights will be installed at Junction One of the M18 at Hellaby and the road will be resurfaced.
The work will be funded by the Highways Agency with Rotherham Borough Council contributing £60,000.
Toucan crossings—accommodating both pedestrians and cyclists—will be added to the remaining three motorway slip roads.
