VIDEO: 'Mushroom garage' gets a tune-up

A MOTOR dealership has its crowning glory car upgraded to a newer, sportier model.

Gilder Group on Mushroom Roundabout, also known as the 'mushroom garage', had its iconic Honda Civic swapped for a Mitsubishi Evo rally car on Thursday morning.

The black car has sat on the showroom's mushroom-shaped roof for nearly ten years.

A crew from PP Engineering lifted the rusting Honda down with a crane, before hoisting the sports car up in its place.
