The children decided to organise a parishioners coffee morning on Wednesday November 25 to entertain members of St Gerard’s Church.
“It’s all the children’s own ideas and they have worked so hard, from going into church and speaking about their business to making their own invite to send,” said Hayley.
The group, aged nine to 11, had to balance their own books and were taken on a supermarket trip to pick out what they wanted for the celebration.
