Traffic disruption on A57 after lorry detaches from trailer
TRAFFIC on the A57 around Todwick was disrupted this morning after a lorry became detached from its trailer.
The incident at the Red Lion roundabout on Worksop Road, Todwick, was reported to police at 9.31am, a police spokeswoman said.
"It is believed that a lorry’s wagon detached from the vehicle and was blocking the lanes of the carriageway," she said.
"Officers are on scene managing traffic while recovery takes place."
