Motorists warned to avoid M1 roadworks

ROADWORKS will affect several parts of the motorway network through Rotherham this week.

The northbound exit slip road of the M1 at junction 32 will be closed on Monday and then again on Thursday for technology repairs. 

The northbound slip road of the M1 at junction 34 will be closed overnight on Wednesday for technology repairs.

The M18 southbound to M1 northbound link will be fully closed overnight on Friday for carriageway repairs. 

The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am and drivers will follow a clearly signed diversion route, the Highways Agency said.
