Time to name your Rotherham community hero

DO you know an organisation or local hero who has made a real difference to life in the community in Rotherham?

Then now is the time to nominate them for a Community Achievement Award.

Organised by Voluntary Action Rotherham on behalf of the Rotherham Partnership, the awards are held annually to celebrate the work of people and projects in the voluntary and community sector that have made a significant difference to Rotherham.

There are three categories you can nominate people or organisations for —Volunteer, Young Volunteer (under 25) or Project.

Those shortlisted will be invited to a glittering awards ceremony and dinner at the Carlton Park Hotel in November. 

They will receive a prestigious award in recognition of their work and lots of useful publicity.

The closing date for nominations is Friday, August 26.
