Time running out in burger contest

A PUB is giving customers the chance to design their dream burger — which could be served in restaurants across the country.

The Brentwood Hotel, on Moorgate Road, is calling on burger buffs to pick from a selection of ingredients including wild boar, pineapple, lamb and brie.

The winner, decided by a Facebook vote, will go on sale across Flaming Grill’s fleet of 93 UK pubs.

Brentwood manager Billy Rice said: “We’re famous for our fun flame-grilled food and we think it’s time for a new addition to join our fantastic burger range.

“We want to add some new twists to our burgers and what better way to do it than to ask our guests to design their perfect creation?”
