Swallows through to final
SWALLOWNEST MW are the first team through to this year’s Charity Cup Final.
They beat Swinton WMC 2-0 on Wednesday night at Maltby thanks to two late goals.
The opener came from Atkins after 82 minutes with the County Senior outfit wrapping up the win when Edwards fired home a penalty on the stroke of full-time.
Swallownest will now play the winners of the heavyweight clash between AFP and Joker which takes place at Muglet Lane on April 11 (7.30pm).
