Student’s art made into chapel souvenirs

ARTWORK by a former Rotherham College student is helping to raise money for the Chapel on the Bridge.

Kevin Collins, of Samphire Creative, created the pieces which have been turned into souvenirs for sale.

notelets and bookmarks to sell as a fundraiser for the chapel, which was built in 1483.

“The artist, Kevin, is a former RCAT pupil who still has a keen interest in Rotherham’s heritage.

“The notelets will be on sale at the chapel’s open days and also at the local history fair at Rotherham Minster on Saturday (15).”

The open day at the Minster, from 10am, includes tours, music and refreshments.
