Simon's silver double
SWIM ace Simon Worne claimed a double silver in the British Gas North Eastern Youth and Senior Championships in Sunderland.
The 19-yer-old was in superb form in the senior section, gaining double silver in the 50m fly and 100m breaststroke with bronze in the 50m breaststroke. He also finished tenth in the 50m freestyle.
Eighteen-year-old Aaron Waterhouse was in excellent form in the youth section, gaining a bronze medal in the 50m fly and also finishing sixth in the 400m IM and seventh in the 100m freestyle.
Matthew Sotheran (15) claimed yet another national time in the 200m backstroke and also finished fifth in the 100m backstroke and ninth in the 200m backstroke and 100m freestyle.
