Shed burglars in court

THREE men have appeared in court charged with taking a mop and bucket and other equipment worth more than £500 in a burglary at a shed.

Mark Swift (40), of Town Lane, Rotherham, Lee Nurse, (39), of Cornwell Close, Rawmarsh and Paul Reeder, (47), of Central Drive, Rawmarsh, are alleged to have taken £590 worth of equipment after breaking into the shed of a property at Haugh Road, Rawmarsh, around 1.30am on Tuesday (April 22).

The goods included a lawnmower, hedge trimmer and a mop and bucket.

The trio were bailed at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court bailed until their next appearance.
