Rotherham youngsters star in BBC drama
YOUNGSTERS from Oakwood School will take centre stage in a New year's Day drama on the BBC.
Daisy Bernard (12), Jacob Skelly (13) and Ellis Busby (14) will all feature in David Walliams’ Billionaire Boy, a typical rag to riches which was filmed in Rotherham last year.
The Oakwood trio were put forward for the show by their drama teachers Ms Bowater and Mr Jones, and after impressing the producers at a number of script readings and auditions, they secured parts.

Hide AdThey feature alongside Connie Campbell, of All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield, actor John Thomson, Mr Walliams himself and Catherine Tate in the show which will be aired on BBC One tonight at 7pm.
